Planning requirements for signs
The planning guidelines for signs in this country are fairly straightforward. They are designed to ensure that signs we see on our shops and offices are appropriate, fit for purpose and at the same time do not offend, cause obstruction or confusion.
Whilst the great majority of signs do not require planning permission, most illuminated signs and signs that are situated on listed buildings or in conservation areas will.
Scorpio can assist you in the process of preparing drawings and a submission to your local planning authority and advise on likely chances of success.
